I am a mom 3, midwife, and nutrition and fitness enthusiast with a passion for pregnant people navigating their wellness. I have experimented with all the things in pregnancy: in my first pregnancy, my nutrition was AWFUL but I did spin classes 4-5 times a week; in my second pregnancy, I was lucky to take walks sometimes but my nutrition was much better. This showed in how my babies turned out— my first was skinny, wrinkly, and 6lb 15oz; my second was chunky with rolls at 7lb 15oz. I also struggled with severe swelling and borderline blood pressures my first pregnancy, my second was much smoother and easier. This last pregnancy, I figured out how to marry fitness and nutrition, I was able to gain a healthy amount of weight with minimal swelling, reduce my risk of preeclampsia, and make the recovery following my traumatic delivery as easy as possible. I decided to become a certified Level 1 CrossFit Coach (CF-OL1), certified Girls Gone Strong coach (GGS), certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism coach (PPA), and have the equivalent coaching of a Level 1 Precision Nutrition coach.
